The *Department of Computer Science* extends its heartfelt gratitude to the *Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Tahir I. Khan and the *Registrar Mr. Ifitikhar Hussain* for their esteemed visit. On this special occasion, *Dr. Muhammad Naeem* and *Dr. Asim Zeb* presented souvenirs and offered a warm welcome to the Vice Chancellor on his appointment to *AUST*.
As part of the visit, a comprehensive presentation was arranged under the title *Department of Computer Science: Strengths, Weaknesses, and Improvement Strategies.* The session highlighted key achievements of the department, identified existing challenges, and proposed actionable strategies aimed at academic enhancement, infrastructure development, and preparetions for the upcoming *NCEAC accreditation visit*.
The Vice Chancellor gave time to the presentation and assured the department that the highlighted issues would be addressed on a priority basis. He expressed a strong commitment to supporting the department’s efforts in achieving academic excellence and accreditation compliance.
Following the presentation, the Vice Chancellor visited the department, inspecting *classrooms, faculty offices, and laboratory facilities*. During the walkthrough, departmental officials briefed him on various concerns, including infrastructure limitations and equipment needs. The Vice Chancellor appreciated the efforts of the faculty and staff and offered valuable suggestions for departmental improvement.
