A research poster exhibition by MPhil and PhD Scholars relating to immunotherapy as a cancer treatment was held in the deptt of Microbiology AUST under the supervision and guideline of Dr Ayub Jadoon .
Vice chancellor AUST Prof Dr Tahir Khan inaugurated the said exhibition.The Respectable Vice Chancellor went through each and every poster and asked many interesting and important questions relating to their research. The research scholars were encouraged by the Vice chancellor.
Immunotherapy is an emerging therapy against Cancers. The conventional treatment includes chemotherapy , surgery and radiations which has very harmful side effects.
Immunotherapy is the use of Naturally acting products of defense mechanism of the human body. Immunotherapy is gaining success and popularity worldwide but it’s yet to start here in Pakistan.
The research scholars of AUST have taken the lead in this connection and have brought forth different amazing ideas to counter and combat deadly cancers.
The purpose of this exhibition was to highlight new ideas helpful in cancer research
